    With the efforts of the Punjab Government, the Provincial Secretariat in Bahawalpur and Multan has started functioning. Now the people there will not have to come to Lahore for any of their work but in the presence of the Additional Chief Secretary On this occasion it is necessary to mention the services of Nawab Sir Muhammad Sadiq and the history of Bahawalpur. Bahawalpur is the second largest Islamic state of the subcontinent which was founded in 1727 by Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi I After the destruction of Baghdad at the hands of Halakun Khan in 1258, the Abbasi princes turned to Sindh. A quarrel arose between the families of Khan and Dawood Khan. Founder Nawab of Bahawalpur Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi I was from the thirteenth generation of Mir Daud Khan. Abbasi received the title of Nawab from Nadir Khan Shah Durrani. Thus his rule was recognized in the present state of Bahawalpur as well as in the areas of Shikarpur, Larkana, Sahunistan and Chhatar. Nawab Bahawal Khan Abbasi I, son of the late Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi, founded in 1774 a new town Bahawalpur, three miles south of the Sutlej River, which was called the Capital of the State due to its central location. In this state, the name of Kodar-ul-Sarwar Bahawalpur was also given and then seals and coins of the same name were also issued. Khan Khamis Abbasi's era of government development, prosperity and the best system Nawab Sir Sadiq Mohammad Khan Khamis Abbasi was born on Friday, September 30, 1904 in the building of Daulat Khana Alia Bahawalpur. 

    He was the only child of his father Nawab Haji Mohammad Bahawal Khan Khamis. Did his father Nawab Bahawal Khan Abbasi die on his return? Military and administrative higher education and training is the reason why at the Delhi court in 1911, at the age of 7, commanding his army, he appeared before the British Emperor George V. In 1913, he was sent to London for state affairs training. Went to Aitchison College Lahore from 1915 to 1921 He was appointed AD of Prince of Wales in 1921. In March 1924, Lord Reading Viceroy of India came to Noor Mahal Bahawalpur and performed the coronation ceremony of Nawab Sir Sadiq and conferred full powers on him. Now known as the Central Library, it is the second largest library in Punjab which contains rare books as well as rare letters, newspapers and magazines. The female librarian Klar used to take these buses to the houses of these women and provide books to them and bring them back. Besides, the libraries of Sadiqgarh Palace and Sadiq Egerton College were also famous for their rare books. Nawab Sir Sadiq Dunya Nawab Sahib and his forefathers always patronized science and literature in the state of Bahawalpur. He always worked hard for the promotion and development of education and training. Sir Syed's intellectual movement was just in its infancy when Nawab Sir Sadiq's grandfather Nawab Sadiq Muhammad IV alias Sabh Sadiq inaugurated SE College in 1886 where he graduated in 1892. Classes were conducted by eminent experts of the subcontinent Aleem was appointed by Prof. Lala Ram Ratan, Prof. Mirza Ashraf Gurgani, Maulvi Muhammad Din and Prof. Wahiduddin Panipati. The Madrasa Sadr-e-Dinyat developed the Ottoman University in the style of Al-Azhar University for the development of religious education in line with the requirements. The students of Fiqr used to quench their thirst for knowledge. Allama Ghulam Muhammad Ghotvi was also made the first Shaykh-ul-Jamia and then it became the largest university Islamia University in 1926. Established a public school and appointed Khan Anwar Sikandar Khan, a well-known and well-known educationist of Aitchison College, as its first principal. Locker Three Headworks Soleimani, Head Islam and Head Panjnad were constructed and a network of canals was laid across the state from which lands began to be settled. This established a lasting bond of friendship between Nawab Sir Muhammad Sadiq and the Quaid-e-Azam.  Nawab Sahib's services to Pakistan before and after the establishment of Pakistan are unforgettable and will be remembered till the Day of Judgment.
